What we are
Compete To Conserve is a growing community that encourages and promotes conservation on a personal and accessible level. Our members share their personal goals and challenging each other to live more sustainable lives. Our online community is like your very own sustainability support group.
Play nice
Whether its about living off the grid or simply trying to recycle your local newspaper, this is a site where people set goals and share personal stories. And as we are all individuals, so are our experiences. Lets be polite and respectful with our interactions by offering encouraging and kind words. Irrelevant and or abusive comments that do not add to the discussion most likely will be deleted. No matter where you find yourself on that path toward individual and global sustainability, Compete to Conserve has a place for you.
Don’t fight fire with fire
If you find something offensive, flag it “inappropriate” and we’ll be sure to check it out. There’s no need to fuel another fire. We can all take responsibility for our words and lead by example in our community.
Be honest
Compete To Conserve is designed to help help you reach your goals by provding a space to track progress. By being honest with yourself and others, and we can all ensure the creation of a learning environment where we all benefit.
While this is a space is designed for everyone, we recommend that our users are at least 13 years old. Even so, think before you post. If you have any doubt that your post is appropriate for a child to see, then you probably shouldn’t post it.
